The following question is divided in two groups: the ones who answered yes or no in the previous question. Thereby, there are two lists of answers. The first list, reflects the responses that are negative, and the second one, shows the positive responses. Even though, there responses that differ in the first question, the reasons they gave to their answers are similar.
Respondents that answered no:
Four people answered «government or corruption». One person answered «natural disasters». One person answered «everything».
Respondents that answered yes:
Two persons answered «earthquakes». Another two people answered «Natural disasters/phenomena» After those mentioned respondents , a variety of answers emerged; dry seasons, tornadoes, stereotypes, monetary dispute and lack of jobs were some of the answers presented by the rest of the respondents.
This question was only asked to the people who answered yes in the first query, because we thought that they would have a more accurate response, since they confirmed that there are external factors that contribute to the cause of poverty in Mexico. The answers of eight people were related to government issues, one person answered «natural disasters», and another one responded «i don´t know».

The function of this agency is to alert the citizens of natural disasters that might occur. It was created in 1988 after the earthquake of 1985 in Mexico City.
It is an organization that contributes to generate better conditions for the safety of the Mexican people. It was created in 1990, after the earthquake of Mexico City in 1985.
Natural disasters have different origins: caused by nature itself, or humans. There are different types of factors that contribute to this, such as pollution and explotation of resources.
Given its geographic location and geological profile, Mexico is a country highly exposed to natural hazards. It has experienced a sharp increase in the economic costs associated with hydrometeorological disasters, most notably: floods, hurricanes and droughts. They cause a decrease in supply, as a need to increase inventories to survive this adversity begins to emerge and, if there are no necessary inventories, this means a reduction in supply that will have an impact on the increase in the price of a product.
Many Mexican families are situated in geographically speaking, dangerous zones. Most of the hurricanes and earthquakes that take place in this country affect the most small and rural communities. Leaving entire families without a home. In southern Mexico, the region most affected by the twin earthquakes, the consequences are likely to be particularly severe: more than 70% of people in Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas states live in poverty.
